Fahadh Faasil will be seen as a cop in the upcoming movie titled Pushpa. The makers of the movie have released the first look from the movie recently in which the actor looks intense and menacingly powerful as police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The first look released today is sure to give you goosebumps. This will be for the first time that the actor will be seen in such a powerful and never-seen-before avatar.

Fahadh plays the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat a police officer and the villain of Allu Arjun’s film. In the poster, the actor dons a bald look dressed in a police uniform, with glaring eyes in a police station. He will be making his debut in Telugu with this role in Pushpa.



Pushpa is an action thriller written and directed by Sukumar. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Sunil. The chartbuster songs in the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Pushpa will be released in two parts, the first part- The Rise Part 1, is slated for a theatrical release in December, as a Christmas special. The movie will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. 

Pushpa was earlier scheduled to release on August 13. But the second wave of coronavirus delayed the shooting schedules and forced the film’s team to look for a new release date. The film is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The audiences are eagerly waiting to see two powerful actors Allu and Fahadh locking horns together in this action thriller.



Pushpa revolves around red sandalwood smuggling. The film also marks Allu Arjun and director Sukumar's third collaboration this time. Previously this duo had done movies such as ‘Arya’ and ‘Arya 2’.
