Pragya Jaiswal is a well-known name in the Telugu film industry today. It has been seven years for her there working since she debuted in a bilingual film, which was released as Virattu in Tamil and as Dega in Telugu. Coming from a Hindi-speaking household and having done her college in Pune, one wonders how Pragya entered in the South films, and the actress explains how.
The actress goes on to insist that once she got success in the South, there was no turning back. “Once I got launched down South, the film worked and I got recognised, I started getting offers from there. It wasn’t a calculative move but when I started getting good offers, I thought that it was best to use such a big platform that I was getting. I didn’t come from a film family so I thought that it’s best to make the most of the opportunity and when the time will be right, I will get opportunities in Hindi films as well,” she concludes.
