The year of 2022 has been of the toughest for South superstar Mahesh Babu as he suffered from many heartbreaking moments of his life. In the span of months, he lost his elder brother, mother and father. Her recently hosted his father’s, noted actor and filmmaker Krishna Garu, 13th day ceremony, along with his family, for the fans and the film fraternity.

Being the doting son that he is, Mahesh performed the last rites of his father, but he came under the radar for not shaving his head. Yes, you read that right! According to Hindu traditions, when a man performs the last rites of any of his family members, he needs to shave his head. However, the actor opted out of doing so, and we know why. If reports by an entertainment website are to be believed, the 47-year-old did not go bald because of his movie commitments. According to Tollywood.net, if Mahesh Babu had chopped off his hair, it would have taken about 6 months to grow it back to the length required for his roles.

During the ceremony held on Sunday, Mahesh Babu, during a speech, said, "Nanna garu has given me a lot. And the greatest among them is your love and affection. I will always be indebted to him. He will always remain in my and your heart. I wish from the bottom of my heart that your affection and blessings will remain on me forever."
