Director Sukumar's highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is currently in production. A recent teaser released to celebrate Allu's birthday offered a sneak peek at the much-anticipated jatara scene. In the teaser, Allu Arjun's character, Pushpa Raj, is seen in a blue pattu saree, adorned with traditional accessories such as jhumkas, necklaces, bangles, a nose pin, and gunghroo. He is dressed in the Mathangi vesham for the Gangamma Thalli jatara in Tirupati. The makers reportedly took 30 days to complete the six-minute scene, underlining its complexity and significance to the storyline. A source from the film's crew declined to confirm or deny the specific amount spent on the scene but did mention that it involved a substantial budget to create the necessary atmosphere. Allu Arjun endured severe back pain due to the intense filming, especially during the song and fight sequences in the jatara get-up.

The film's digital rights have been a topic of discussion, with News18 claiming the producers sold the rights for Rs 100 crore. In contrast, the first part's rights were sold to Amazon Prime Video for Rs 30 crore. There is speculation that director Sukumar will benefit from the OTT deal, as Netflix has included "Pushpa 2: The Rule" in its lineup for this year.




The sequel features a talented cast, including Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Brahmaji, and Anasuya Bharadwaj, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is set to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, and other South Indian languages.

Pushpa: The Rise made its theatrical debut in December 2021, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the sequel. With high expectations and a large budget, Pushpa 2: The Rule aims to build on the success of its predecessor and deliver an engaging cinematic experience.
