India is largely hit with the 2nd biggest wave of the pandemic. Several places in India are seeing a huge spike in COVID-19 cases. There have been a high number of fatalities too given that there is a high inflow of COVID cases and the medical infrastructure to handle the wave is limited. Oxygen shortage, Remdesvir hoarding, and pending vaccination are also a factor that adds to the risk of spread of COVID. Most industries are struggling to remain operational in these times and our film fraternity is also facing problems. Many film schedules are being put on hold or have been canceled indefinitely due to the rising number of cases.
