‘Kabzaa’, an action-drama directed by R Chandru is based on a true story of a gangster. It is a story of the era between 1946 and 1984. It will be released in seven different languages- Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Odia and Marathi.
Director R Chandru said, “We erected 40 sets across locations in Hyderabad, Jharkhand, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mangalore and Pondicherry. A lot of thought went into selecting every property on the sets, to reflect the different timeframes accurately. The film will transport the audience into another era”.
Coming to the credits of the film, MTB Nagaraj and Lagadapati Sridhar are bankrolling it under Sri Siddeshwara Entertainments banner. ‘Kabzaa’ will be a multi-language film from the makers after the super success of KGF. R Chandru also added, “We are working day and night, aiming for a pan-India release in September as Upendra’s birthday falls in that month”.
