Devi Sri Prasad is best known for his work in Telugu films. He has also worked in few Tamil films and is a recipient of nine Filmfare Awards, eight of which are Best Music Director (Telugu) and one Special Award for Best Background Music, five CineMAA Awards (Best Music Director), five SIIMA Award for Best Music Director (Telugu) and won Nandi Award for Best Music Director. DSP is one of the highest-paid music composers in Tollywood.
