Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, many stars have come forward to help people battle the deadly virus, megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan are also a few of the actors who lent their helping hand. However, as per reports in Indiaglitz, the senior actor is miffed with the media for not giving enough coverage to the work he and his team has put forward to help people. A phone conversation of the actor with Mootha Gopalakrishna, the writer of the Andhra Prabha was leaked on the internet which explains the same.
Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan launched 'Chiranjeevi Blood Bank' a venture that is approx Rs. 30 crores as reported in Andhra Prabha, one of the Telugu dailies. Also, the actor had revealed that he is not taking any help for this initiative and has been doing this with his own money. The leaked conversation has the Sye Raa actor stating, “It's unfortunate that the media is so biased. It's very hurtful. The media is distorting even good deeds." Hence, he is miffed with the mainstream media for not covering the work done by his oxygen banks.
He further adds, "I am doing all this with all my earning."
Later he thanked the journalist for bringing to light the good work he has done for his fans. He adds, "I thank you from the bottom of my heart. No matter how much our people do, the media doesn't recognize our noble work. Your article is not an exaggeration. It was not written to appease me. It was written to inform the public."
