Having made a mark in the Telugu and Hindi entertainment industry, actor and filmmaker Nagarjuna came under fire earlier this week for his ignorant behaviour. He was brutally trolled by the netizens on Sunday when a video of his bodyguard roughly pushing a specially-abled fan, who reportedly works at one of the stalls at the Mumbai Airport went viral. As criticism from the netizens started increasing, he apologised through his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. Now, he apologised to the fan in person.

In a video shared by Instant Bollywood, the 64-year-old actor reached Mumbai Airport on Wednesday and met with his specially abled-fan before jetting off to an undisclosed location. Not only did he interact with the fan but he also hugged him tightly. He was heard telling him, “It’s not your fault, humari galti tha.” As soon as the video was posted, netizens rushed in to the comment section to share their mixed reactions. One wrote, “But why couldn’t he do that on the same day when the incident happened.” Another wrote, “Ye dekh k mujhe is hero se bhi nafrat hogyi ab.” Other one said, “Ab kiya fayda yeh karne ka jo pehle kand karna tha kar dia ab video viral hone ke baad yeh unnecessary drama karne ki koi zaroorat Nahi hai.” One commented, “He still wasnt nice didnt even shake his hand or get a proper picture. Reacting to the viral video earlier, the Brahmastra actor tweeted, “This just came to my notice … this shouldn’t have happened!! I apologise to the gentleman and will take necessary precautions that it will not happen in the future!!”


On the work front, Nagarjuna will be next seen in Kubera along with Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh. According to media reports, the actors arrived in Mumbai for the shoot of the film. Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, the film will be made in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
