Superstar Rajinikanth's recent release made its mark in the history of the Indian film industry as it has already crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office. The film has even made its way to the OTT platform and it continues to garner praise. Well, excellent reviews seem to have impressed the producer Kalanithi Maran, who owns Sun Pictures, and he has gifted a gold coin to 300 members of the Jailer team.
Interestingly, Maran has established himself as a generous producer and he was pretty much impressed with Jailer music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The Alappara Theme and Kaavaalaa song featuring Tamannah Bhatia have become a trendsetter and fans have been creating reels to these songs. Apart from that, the producer also gave Rajinikanth a cheque of Rs 100 crore and a swanky car. He presented the key to a brand new BMW X7 chosen by the superstar.
The film shows Thalaiva as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian a former Jailer, who fights a ruthless villain after his son is kidnapped.
Jailer became a major hit among the masses and its meteoric success, in merely a few weeks of its release, has left the entire nation in a disbelieve. Following its release, a large number of fans thronged cinema halls in Kerala and Tamil Nadu to see Rajinikanth make a comeback after two years.

Jailer has effortlessly cemented itself as an action-packed entertainer with a stellar cast that includes Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan.
The Rajinikanth starrer has an extended cameo by Jackie Shroff and Malayalam actor Mohanlal. Interestingly, Jackie shared the screen with Rajnikanth 36 years ago in the film Uttar Dakshin.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar Jailer hit the big screens on August 10.
