Talking about keeping the wedding an intimate affair, Vishnu Vishal told Etimes, "We had a registered marriage. But we had traditional ceremonies, like haldi and mehendi, for two days - on the day of wedding and the day before. We only had close set of family and a few friends in attendance. We didn't celebrate in a grand way because of COVID-19. We should be responsible and can't ignore what's happening in our country at the moment." He also mentioned that they did not choose fancy hotels or venues for their wedding.
Ever since the news and pictures of their wedding have made it to the internet, fans are wishing them using the #Jwalavished.
