Tamil actress Radha, who rose to fame with the film Sundhara Travels in 2002, has now hit the headlines after she reportedly filed a complaint against her husband. The actress was seen playing the role of Gayathri in Sundhara Travels, after which she went on to be a part of several other Tamil and Malayalam films. Now, as per a report in Times Of India, Radha has filed a police complaint against her husband, accusing him of harassment.
According to the TOI report, she filed a complaint at the Virugambakkam police station, and accused her second husband Vasantharaja of beating and harassing her. Reportedly, she also accused him of trying to misbehave with her mother. The police commissioner is investigating the case, and both Radha and Vasantharaja have been summoned regarding this investigation. The report states that Radha’s first marriage was to a film producer, with whom she has a child. However, they got divorced and after a few years, she married a police officer Vasantharaja.
The TOI report states that Vasantharaja is already married and has two kids, and that Radha and he live together in Saligram, Chennai.
In the past, Radha often hit the headlines for her controversial relationships. According to a report in Pinkvilla, in 2013, Radha had filed a complaint against an entrepreneur named Faizul, alleging that he refused to marry her after six years of being in a relationship. She had also alleged that he had threatened to make their private videos public.
