Superstar Kamal Haasan recently announced testing positive for the Novel Coronavirus in his Tweet. Taking to Twitter he shared how after he returned from the US, he had mild cough and in order to be safe, he got himself tested. Thus, resulting in the actor being COVID-19 positive, now as per the latest press release of the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, the actor is fully recovered and but shall remain in the isolation till December 3, 2021, for safety reasons.
The press release also stated that the actor will be fit to resume work from December 4, 2021. The press release read, “Mr. Kamal Haasan, who has been admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on 22nd November 2021 was Covid Positive. He had mild covid for which he was treated. He has fully recovered but advised to be in isolation until 3rd December 2021. He will be fit to resume his routine work from 4th December 2021.”
The Vikram actor breaking the news of testing positive for COVID-19 had tweeted, “After I returned from my America trip, I had symptoms of light coughing. When tested, it was confirmed that I have Covid-19. I have isolated myself at a hospital. Let's all understand that the pandemic is not over yet and behave accordingly. Stay safe.”
Following this news, his daughter-actress Shruti Haasan updated his fans about his health, she tweeted, “Thank you for all your wishes and prayers for my father's health. He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon.”
