The popular Tamil filmmaker KV Anand is preparing a team for his upcoming Mafia thriller with Sivakarthikeyan. Social media has hummed with news of making a movie on the Tamil Nadu mafia. KV Anand also revealed to a leading newspaper that “Though I would love to work with him, the news is not true. To work with him, I need a script that suits him. We may collaborate if that materializes.”
KV Anand earned fame from “Ayan” and reportedly he is working on the script whose storylines revolve around the Mafia based out of Tamil Nadu. He further added - “Mafia exists everywhere, in different fields of politics, bureaucracy, law... We’ve had films like Natakan, which was set in Mumbai. I wanted to explore the mafia existing in our state. It’s based on things that happen on a regular basis, but the public is not aware of it. There is a difference between mafia and rowdyism. It involves politicians, but it won’t be a political film. It will be a commercial movie, and will have a love track, too.”
