Actor Dhanush and his filmmaker wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth’s relationship has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Having announced their separation after around 18 years of marital bliss, the news came as a shock to their fans. While the couple has been separated for months now, rumours around their possible reconciliation have been doing rounds on the internet especially since they stopped their divorce proceedings last year. Well, now a report suggests that the couple isn’t interested in getting a divorce nor do they want to give their relationship a try.
According to a report by Bollywood Life, the estranged couple doesn’t plan on reconciling. It was stated that the couple has moved on in their life. Dhanush isn’t investing his time in their broken relationship. The report adds that he and Aishwaryaa have made peace and know that things will never be the same for them again as a married couple. Quoting a source from Hindustan Times, the entertainment portal wrote, “They are separated and gone in different directions. The report goes on to state that they have been living separately for a long. Talking about their halted divorce proceedings, the portal states that the couple is extremely busy with their work, which has led them to not give much thought about formalizing their divorce. The buzz around their possible reconciliation is all just speculation. The report states that they will officially file for a divorce only when one of them wants to get remarried. For the unversed, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth were one of the most sought-after couples in the South entertainment industry. After their separation, they have mutual respect for each other as they co-parent their two sons Linga and Yatra.
On the work front, they are currently busy focusing on their careers. While Dhanush will be next seen in Captain Miller, which will be slated to release in December 2023, Aishawaryaa has written and directed Lal Salaam. The movie will be released in January 2024 and will have a cameo by superstar Rajinikanth.
