The ecological thriller trailer of actor Aishwarya Rajesh’s next film titled “Boomika” got released. The producers of the film also disclosed that the film will be aired on the OTT platform Netflix. The OTT giant Netflix announced the streaming date as August 23 and the official social media of Netflix India South captioned the post: “Manidhanin peraasai. Iyarkayin kovam!”, which loosely translates to “Human beings' selfishness, nature’s anger.”
The trailer reveals with a cast explaining how the earth is constantly communicating with humans. “It’s making itself very clear! Guess what it’s saying? I know how to say it myself. If you can, save yourself from me,” these are the dialogues of a character- whose identity is not disclosed yet in the trailer. It clearly indicates that the story is revolving around ecological destruction.

The description in the trailer further reads - “Strange things and scary incidents unfold when Gayathri and Gautham try to convert a dilapidated school into a resort. Will they be able to survive these horrific circumstances?”
In the trailer, Aishwarya Rajesh is seen perplexed by picturesque landscapes. More details about the character of the movie are yet to be revealed by the makers of “Boomika”. The trailer features many spine-chilling glimpses with dark music that sets the tone for a horror light touch.
The film is bankrolled by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and Passion Studios. The story revolves around an ecological thriller with a horror tone. “Boomika” is penned and directed by Rathindran Prasad. The star cast of Boomika will feature actors Vidhu, Pavel Navageethan, Madhuri, Surya Ganapathy, Ayaan Abhishek, Avantika Vandanapu. Prithvi Chandrasekhar has composed the music and R Mohan has directed the movie.
