Malayalam actors Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi have faced A major setback on the professional front as they have been banned from film sets by two Malayalam film unions. Yes, you read that right! As per the recent reports, this ban comes after there were several reports of their bad behaviour on the sets. The Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) and Kerala Film Producers Association on Tuesday jointly issued a ban on Shane and Sreenath.
The decision was taken in a meeting by FEFKA, Film Producers' Association, and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). Confirming the same, Industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai tweeted, “#Malayalam film industry associations - #FEFKA, #KeralaFilmProducers & #Amma jointly decided to ban popular actors #ShaneNigam & #SreenathBhasi from forthcoming films due to constant “bad behaviour and trouble on the sets.” As reported by Onmanorama, M Ranjith, who is the head of Kerala Film Producers, has alleged that both Shane and Sreenath were often under the influence of drugs on the film sets, and following this they used to create a lot of nuisance on the sets.

A few weeks ago, Shane Nigam was embroiled in a controversy when he allegedly walked out of the sets with senior actors such as Lal and Babu Antony from Nahas Hidhayath's film RDX. The shooting was halted because of the same.
Shane also became a trending topic on the internet after news of him walking out of the film set went viral. His co-star Antony Varghese shared a cryptic note on Facebook hinting he is not happy with the turn of events. He had written: “No drama, please. Dedicated to those who are playing real-life drama here.”
