South superstar Rishab Shetty is basking in the glory of his recent release Kantara and it has went on to receive rave reviews from the critics and audience likewise. The actor has been busy with interviews for the film since October. After a long break, the actor will soon return to work.
The recent report comes after the director announced the prequel of Kantara celebrating the 100 days of the film and he even promised to live up to the audience’s expectations.
The film is speculated to go on floors by June to encash the monsoon season as the film will be having scenes to shoot in the rainy season. The scripting and research work will be underway from March, reported News18.
The makers have reportedly given Rishab free hand to do the film and offer his vision and story on the big screens without any restrictions. However, the cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized and will be announced when they believe it is the appropriate time. The team is planning for the theatrical release of Kantara 2 by the summer of next year.
The actor dedicated his big win to Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar and director SK Bhagavan.
