India has been struggling a lot amid a massive second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the increase in coronavirus cases, many hospitals are even running out of beds, oxygen cylinders and medicines. Many celebrities are doing their best to help people in need. And now, Kannada actor Arjun Gowda is currently creating a huge buzz. The actor turned an ambulance driver to help Covid-19 patients in Bengaluru. Yes, you read that right! He is setting a great example for others in these tough times.
During a recent interview with Bombay Times, Arjun opened up about the idea behind turning ambulance driver and said, "I've been on the road for a couple of days and I've already helped around half a dozen people with assistance for final rites. We want to ensure that we help out anyone in need irrespective of where they come from or what religion they practice."
The actor took to his Instagram account and shared a snippet of a news article. Speaking about it, Arjun wrote, "I have taken all necessary precautions and also necessary training.. am overwhelmed for your wishes, Thz means a lot to me." The actor further added 'it's my commitment and my honour to serve and work for the people of KARNATAKA. JAI BHUVANESHWARI."
Fans and followers of the actor are lauding him for his kind act. One Instagram user wrote, "You are an example," another fan wrote, "Hats off to you bro." One user commented, "Proud of you," another fan wrote, "This is truly inspirational. more strength to you and a bow."
