The makers of Salman Khan's Tubelight are out with the first song from the film, Radio. Check it out:
Composed by Pritam, the song has been sung by Kamaan Khan
and Amit Mishra.
The song will take you back in time when radio was
the only means of entertainment for the people. Also, Salman's childlike
mannerisms and antics will make you fall in love with the song.
Tubelight is Salman's third collaboration with Kabir
Khan. Their last film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) broke a lot of records and
became the highest grossing film that year. Even the one before that, Ek Tha
Tiger (2012) was the biggest blockbuster of that year. Only time will tell if
Tubelight also turns out to be a massive hit.
The basic plot of Tubelight has been taken from a
Hollywood film, A Little Boy (2015). Director Kabir Khan disclosed this fact at
the special preview of this song last Friday. The whole cast and crew of the
film are currently in Dubai for the launch of the song. This is the first time
a Bollywood song has been launched outside of India. Considering the
immense fan following Salman has in the Middle East, this step was taken
by the makers of the film to show their appreciation for those fans. Quite an
innovative idea, we must say.
Tubelight will be Salman's first film this year. He also
has the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger coming later this year. Titled Tiger Zinda Hai,
the film is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman and Ali gave
us the blockbuster Sultan in 2016.
