Recreating old songs has become a trend these days, and Ajay Devgn doesn't want to be left behind. Makers of Golmaal Again have now come up with a recreated version of a song from Ajay's cult comedy hit, Ishq (1998).

Titled Maine Tujhko Dekha, it's a remake of the song Neend Churayi Meri. Check out the song here:

The song will be recreated by the master of remakes, Amaal Mallik on Kumaar's lyrics. The original song was composed by his uncle Anu Malik, and Amaal feels that it's a tribute from him to his uncle. Speaking about the same Amaal had said, "I am doing two songs for the film, one among which is Neend Churayi. It's a big responsibility. It is also a tribute to my uncle, Anu Malik, who composed the original. We will retain the hook line and add new verses to the song. It will suit the mood of the film."

The song has been sung by Neeraj Sridhar and Sukriti Kakar.

Talking about the picturisation, this time the song has Ajay grooving to it along with the rest of the Golmaal cast - Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemmu, Tusshar Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade. Ajay is seen trying to woo Parineeti Chopra, and the rest of them are helping him in his efforts. Sadly, Tabu isn't seen in the song at all.

We were hoping that director Rohit Shetty would give us a surprise with a cameo appearance by Ajay's dearest wife Kajol in the song. Well, that didn't happen.

So go ahead and revisit the old song below and let us know in the comments section which version you like better.

Golmaal Again hits theatres this Diwali.
