Sonu Nigam not only acknowledged the similarities but also extended an apology to Omer Nadeem. He candidly addressed the unintentional resemblance between his song and Omer's creation, expressing deep respect for Omer's work and asserting that the resemblances were coincidental. Sonu clarified on Instagram, sharing, "Just so you all know, I have nothing to do with this. I was requested to do the song by KRK (Kamaal R Khan), who is my neighbour in Dubai. And then couldn't refuse him, even though I don't sing for everyone." Additionally, he mentioned, "If I had heard Omer's version, I would have never sung it."
