A few days ago, Bollywood singer Lucky Ali had taken to his official social media handle to question why people with different religious beliefs are fighting amongst themselves when they come from the same lineage. His statement had left a majority of his fans pissed as they lashed out at him for his Facebook post, which has now been deleted. On Wednesday morning, he again took to the social media website and issued an apology clarifying that he only wanted to bring people closer.

Ali in his new post shed light on the fact that it was not his intention to cause anger and distress amongst his followers. For the unversed, it was on Sunday that the 64-year-old had taken to Facebook and commented on the fact that ‘Brahman’ comes from the word ‘Brahma’ which has been derived from the word ‘Abram.’ Quoted by Hindustan Times, he wrote, “The name ‘Brahman’ comes from ‘Brahma’ which comes from ‘Abram’ .. which comes from Abraham or Ibrahim.. The Brahmans are a lineage of Ibrahim. Alaihisalam...
