When SpotboyE meet music composer Pritam recently for an interview (to be carried shortly), he and the director of Raabta Dinesh Vijan looked bum chums.  But suddenly, something went drastically wrong between them.

T- Series wanted an extra song of a different composer and Pritam was mighty miffed. And soon, he quit the project telling Vijan that he does not want any credit titles in the film and if they want they can give it to his company Jam 8.

Pritam an hour ago put out a post on Facebook confirmed the news saying that he has opted out of Raabta which features Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon. This announcement from the  Ae Dil Hai Mushkil maestro music composer comes as a shocker.

The post reads:  “I had decided a while back to only do solo composer albums and not have an outside song in my album. In Raabta, producers want to recreate an existing song from the music label as part of promotions so I have decided to not continue with the film and requested the producers to take out my name from the film credits and promotions and the album will be completed by my company Jam 8,” read the post.

Well, Pritam had told SpotboyE then that he has a watertight clause that he would compose only exclusively for ptojects. Clearly T-Series wanted to break that clause and Dinesh Vijan could do nothing but be a mute spectator.

The music of Raabta is really being well received by the audiences. The song Ek Vaari Aa is already a chartbuster. The track showcases the lead pair reminiscing the moments they spent together and how everything they go through during the day reminds them of each other. The peppy number has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Pritam. The last time the trio of Arijit, Amitabh and Pritam collaborated for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, their melodies weaved magic.
