As Raees opened to the box-office today, everyone is keen to know how the Shah Rukh-Mahira-starrer is performing at the ticket window. While the public has given the film good reviews until now, there is one person who has a reason to complain after seeing the final product on the big screen.

Shreya Ghoshal is not a happy woman at the moment.  The songstress was in for a rude shock when she realised that the song crooned by her has been dropped from Raees. This has left Shreya extremely disappointed.

On the other hand, Shreya’s fans who were eagerly waiting for the song since a very long time are equally disappointed. A few of them took to social media and said how unfair it was to drop the song. Many even tweeted to the Deewani Mastani singer expressing their displeasure about the same.  But it seems, Shreya has taken things in her stride.

Replying to the sad twitteratis, Shreya explained them that many factors play a role in retaining a song in the album. It's not just in the hands of the creative people. So the fans should not be disheartened.

SpotboyE.com has it that the song was composed by Ram Sampath. When we tried contacting him citing the reason for dropping the song, he didn’t respond to our call. However, a source close to the composer mentioned that the song was recorded over a year ago. “Initially the song fitted the situation but there were a few changes made in the script, which is why the song had to be deleted from the movie. Another song composed by Ram had also been deleted,” said the source.
