Salman Khan has released the latest track Laila from his upcoming production Notebook. Days after the release of the first song Nai Lagda, a soulful ballad, the makers of
Notebook – the debut film of Nutan’s granddaughter
Pranutan and
Zaheer Iqbal have come up with a new track Laila, a romantic melody. The song shows Pranutan as a lover girl who fantasizes about her man in the beautiful backdrops of Kashmir.
The song is penned by Abhendra Upadhyay and Vishal Mishra, while Dhvani Bhanushali has lent her vocals. The makers promised that this soft romantic number will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, and it exactly does that. Salman Khan released the song on social media by writing, “Firdaus ka Kabir ke liye pyar ka Elaan”. #Laila, 2nd song from #Notebook out now.
Notebook’s first song
Nai Lagda has already managed to cross 6 million views by impressing the audience with its soulful rendition.
The trailer depicts the unique love story set in Kashmir between Firdaus and Kabir, who haven’t met each other. While interacting with the media at the trailer preview of Notebook, Pranutan had said, "I did give lot of auditions for two and half years or so for lot of films. I never used to say I am from a film family. For this film they knew that I was Mohnish’s daughter. “I gave a five hour long audition for this film. But they called some other girls also as they were like if they take me then it will be like ‘I am from film family’. So they auditioned some 80 to 100 girls but Nitin sir felt I was the right choice."
Notebook is directed by Nitin Kakkar, produced by Salman Khan Films, and will hit the big screens on March 29, 2019.
