Late Punjabi singer and politician Sidhu Moosewala’s tragic death shook the entire nation. His passing left a hole in the hearts of his fans. A month ahead of his first death anniversary, one of his songs ‘Mera Na’ was released by the makers on Friday afternoon. They took to his official social media handles to launch tha song, leaving his admirers emotional. 
 
A few hours after the release, the song has garnered over 2.8 million views and 1 million likes on YouTube. While Nigerian singer Burna Boy has a rap track in the song, Steel Banglez has given the music. Talking about the music video, it features the late singer’s pictures, murals, paintings on walls, newspapers and trucks. They have also added video clippings of his performances on billboards in various cities. Fans got emotional as a teaser of the song was posted on his official Instagram handle. They flooded the comments section of the post with sad messages. One wrote, “Jaan aayi awaz sunke Bai di.” Another wrote, “Long Live rehna katt dila vich.” Other one wrote, “15min. 1million+ view.” One said, “Legend never die.” Another said, “Rest In Power Astaad Ji.” Many posted heart and fire emojis in the comments section and others asked for justice. For the unversed, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district in May 2022. A member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Goldy Brar, claimed that he was responsible for the singer's murder. The late singer was among the 424 people whose security was pruned by the Punjab Police on a temporary basis.
