The song, which has been shot across Uttarakhand, is a visual spectacle and is meant as a tribute to Lord Shiva. This was supposed to be Sara's second film we thought when Karan Johar signed her up for Simmba, but it is now clear that it will be Kedarnath (December 7). Director Abhishek Kapoor shared the song on Twitter and wrote, "आज #धनतेरस #Dhanteras के शुभ दिन पर, भोलेनाथ का नाम लेकर... आइये, #Kedarnath यात्रा का आरम्भ करतेहै, #NamoNamo http://bit.ly/Kedarnath-NamoNamo … @itsSSR #SaraAliKhan @RonnieScrewvala @rsvpmovies @gitspictures @pragyadav_ @ItsAmitTrivedi @OfficialAMITABH @ZeeMusicCompany."

Sushant, who
plays a tour guide in the film, seems to be in total command in every frame of
the song. The song is already receiving good praise on Twitter. The film, an
epic love story, is set against the tsunami that brought havoc in the town of
Kedarnath in June 2013, leaving about a hundred thousand dead. Kedarnath
was supposed to hit theatres in June 2018, but was postponed to December 7. The
official poster of film released on October 29. The Official teaser was
released on October 30.
