Karan Johar is Bollywood's best talent scout, not only when it comes to actors but also musicians. Instead of established names like Sachin-Jigar and Sharib-Toshi, who had composed the soundtrack of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, the sequel will be scored by an up and coming trio of musicians.

The Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya will have three music composers. Along with Amaal Mallik and Tanishk Bagchi,  Karan Johar has signed up an independent music composer Akhil for the project and the singer-composer will have one song in the film.

A source close to the production house confirmed the news and said, “Akhil has composed a song and he will sing it too. Looking at the response to Kar Gayi Chul and Bolna from Kapoor And Sons which were composed by Amaal and Tanishk , Karan sir has once again chosen the young composers.”

SpotboyE.com also has it that Tanishk has composed a couple of dance numbers for the film while Amaal has composed two songs.

Rumours had earlier claimed that Baby Doll composers Meet Brothers will be a part of Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, but they did not make the cut.

We got in touch with Shashank Khaitan, the director of the film for a confirmation.

He did not deny the the news that the trio has been chosen but added, “We are yet to finalise the music of the film and its very early to talk about it.”
