Tiwari brothers i.e. Ankit and Ankur just can’t get rid of legal troubles. An FIR has been lodged at Oshiwara Police station by USA based event management company Deep VIP Travels against them, Akriti Kakar and Shilpa Rao for allegedly cheating the firm.

A couple of years ago, the company had reportedly got in touch with the singer-composer duo and they had agreed to do a show for him.

Akriti Kakar was also roped in for the concert and an amount of Rs 30 lakh had been paid to Brotherhood Entertainment, which is owned by Ankit and his brother and Shilpa Rao is a partner of the company.

Once the money was received by the singers, they didn’t respond and are yet to honour their word.

According to the complainant Deep Kumar Vora, manager at Deep VIP Travels, he had flown down to Mumbai from USA to sort out the matter but yet the singers didn’t respond. In fact he had asked them to refund the money or do the show but yet again received no response and hence he was compelled to take a legal action against the three.

The police has summoned the 3 singers for their statement. Inspector Arjun Rajane of Oshiwara police station said, "We will be calling them for a statement soon. The singers are not in town right now but they have been summoned."
