De De Pyar De’s latest number, Hauli Hauli, is out. The song, starring Tabu, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh is a recreation of the Punjabi track by the same title. It has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Garry Sandhu-Neha Kakkar.
Hauli Hauli sees Tabu dancing like a pro, probably the first time the actress has flaunted her moves, while Ajay Devgn plays with his straight face swag throughout the song. Rakul, on the other hand, is the one upping the hotness meter with her sensuous moves. Check out the song below:
Talking about the film, the story of De De Pyaar De shows a 50-year-old man played by Ajay Devgn flirting with the 26-year-old Rakul Preet Singh. The two fall in love and soon his ex-wife played by Tabu enters the scene. So, just like the tag-line of the film goes, watch Ajay Devgn ‘split’ between two beautiful women. De De Pyaar De also stars Alok Nath, Jimmy Sheirgill and Javed Jaaferi. Amaal Mallik, Rochak Kohli, Tanishk Bagchi, Garry Sandhu, Vipin Patwa, Manj Musik and Atul Sharma, have all contributed to the film’s music.
At the trailer launch event, Ajay Devgn had spoken about the film and said, “De De Pyaar De is a fun love story. It is a fun film. I don't even know if I have done this kind of film before. But I have had fun doing this film.” Producer Luv Ranjan addressed misogyny in his films by saying, "I have been asked this so much. I think we have had these movies, and they have been very successful. I think I have had some strong female characters in my films. There has been confusion between good female roles and strong female roles.”
