Bappi Lahiri, who had contracted COVID-19 last month, has now fully recovered, and is back home! On March 31, it was reported that Bappi Lahiri had tested positive for Coronavirus, and in the statement that had been shared by his spokesperson, it was mentioned that the music director had been admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Now, a few days later, Bappi Lahiri has recovered and has been discharged from the hospital.
Now, Bappi Lahiri also took to his social media and posted a happy picture of him flashing a thumbs-up sign. In his post, he wrote that he is back home, and thanked his loved ones for their blessings. He also thanked the staff, nurses and doctors at the Breach Candy Hospital for taking such good care of him during his recovery period.

In a post shared on March 17, Bappi Lahiri had revealed that he had pre-registered for the COVID-19 vaccine. He wrote, “As soon as I found out that us over 60’s and those aged between 45-59 with a specified co-morbidity are now able to get our jab booked in, I felt a sense of relief that the end to this pandemic is in sight.” He urged people in the age group to pre-register in advance, as well.
