The internet is losing its plot as Backstreet Boys have got together to jam to their iconic hit ‘I want it that way’ that released way back in 1999 and swept music charts. Music in the times of social distancing is a powerful tool to help keep sanity intact and the amaze boy band of our dreams (only 90s kids will get this!) is making sure the heart keeps warm and fuzzy.

So here’s what happened - AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, yes, them all – got together to hum the tune from their respective living rooms, because social distancing y’all. The best part? A cameo by Kevin’s adorable to bits kids at the end of the magical clip. The boys then went on to share the clip on the band’s social media handle with a sweet message, ““Honored we could be part of this incredible event.”

The one hour long musical concert was hosted by Elton John. Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Sam Smith and others participated in this benefit.

The iconic Elton John opened the living room concert with a heartrending message, “"Here we are, all together at home. You've got your family and loved ones, and I've got mine close, too.... We're taking care of each other through this crisis," the five-time Grammy winner said. "Let me tell you what's going to keep us together: all the goodness that's happening in the world. There's doctors, nurses and scientists on the front lines. They're living proof that most superheroes don't wear capes." Here are some more tunes from the concert proceeds of which will be used to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
