Tanu Weds Manu Fame Anand L Rai To Venture Into Marathi Films?

With various new projects being brought up in the Marathi film industry various filmmakers and celebrities from Bollywood are making their entrance into the Marathi industry. Talking about such projects, recently Tanu Weds Manu fame Anand L Rai shook hands with renowned Marathi filmmaker Paresh Mokashi for his first-ever venture in the Marathi films. According to the information, the filmmaker will be producing the upcoming Marathi film Aatma Pamphlet, written by Paresh Mokashi.

The film is produced under the banner of Paresh’s film company Mayasabha Karamnuk Mandali in association with T-series and Colour Yellow film company. The film will be directed by Ashish Avinash Bende and it’s his debut as a director in the Marathi industry. The shoot of the film has recently begun in Mumbai. Further updates about the cast members and release date haven’t been revealed yet. But with things going this swiftly, things will surely be released pretty soon. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, director Anand L Rai is well known for his Bollywood directorial hits like Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhanaa, etc. The director will soon be blessing fans with his upcoming Bollywood blockbuster Atrangi Re, starring actor Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan Kollywood star Dhanush in the lead roles. The film is set to release on the 7th of August this year.
