Mrunmayee Deshpande To Debut As A Director With Up Coming Marathi Movie ‘Man Fakira’

Mrunmayee Deshpande, an established actress of the Marathi film industry, who is known for her roles that she has played in her movies. She has not only acted in Marathi films but also in Hindi films and TV shows. Mrunmayee Deshpande has decided to embark on a new path of her career as a director. The leading actress will soon debut as a director with an upcoming Marathi film ‘Man Fakira’ starring Suvrat Joshi, Sayali Sanjeev, Anjali Patil and Ankit Mohan in the lead roles.

Munmayee Deshpande entered in to Bollywood in 2008, with her debut Hindi film ‘Humne Jeena Seekh Liya’. Later she entered in to the Marathi film industry and established herself as an accomplished actress with movies like ‘Ek Cup Chya’ (2009), ‘Mokala Shwaas’ (2012), ‘Dhaam Dhoom’ (2013), ‘Pune via Bihar’ (2014) and ‘Bioscope’ (2015), ‘Gulmohar’ 2016. She also featured in a Marathi comedy movie Shikari along with Siddharth Jadhav.  Mrunmayee Dehpande is a proficient dancer and her first daily soap named Agnihotra was aired on Star Pravah.

Mrunmayee Deshpande apart from directing the movie has also written the story of Man Fakira. While speaking of the story of the film, Mrunmayee added, “The definition of martial bond has changed for youngsters and they have started looking at it from a broader perspective.”
