On Tuesday, the actress announced a two-day-long online live dance festival starting from 29 April to mark the International Dance Day amid the nation-wide lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Dance With Madhuri founder urges her followers to register and participate in the festival. The Bucket List actress writes, “With the World Dance Day right around the corner, I am coming to groove in your room on the 29th and 30th of April with the first edition of the DWM dance festival”.




These are tough times for people who are battling, fear, and anxiety of a global pandemic. Dance, workout, and good physical health will ensure our bodies and minds are equipped to battle the COVID 19. Madhuri is taking a step to make this movement a major one! 

This would be India’s very first virtual dance festivals that include choreographers like Saroj Khan, Farah Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Pandit Birju Maharajji all under one event. It will stream live on all social media handles of the actor and her website Dance With Madhuri.

International Dance Day is celebrated every year on 29 April.
