Déjà vu is a psychological thriller drama and helmed by a National award-Winning Marathi Director Abhijeet Warang. The movie is based on a unique concept where only Sharad Kelkar will feature and other artists have voice over. Sharad Kelkar is very active on social media and in his recent update he posted a poster of his upcoming movie “Déjà vu”. He captioned the post – “On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa Presenting the first look of my film “Deja Vu”. It’s the only feature film in the history of Indian cinema to have a single character in a single location, while the remaining characters will only have their voice-overs.” The fans are really excited with the announcement and are eagerly waiting to see their favorite actor in a solo acted movie. They are replying by re-tweeting the post.
Déjà vu is produced by Rakesh Kudalkar under the banner of Good Boy Entertainment. Director Abhijeet Warang has recently received National Award for the film “Picasso”. The movie is expected to hit the big screen later in the year 2021. Whereas, “Déjà vu” is not the first Indian film that is showing a solo character on screen but in 1964 Sunil Dutt's “Yaadein” was also based on the same concept. Kannada movie “Shanti” and Tamil movie “Othatha Seruppu Size-7” also featured solo characters in 2019.
