Ace Actor-Director Priyadarshan Jadhav Opens Up On His Battle With COVID-19, Assures He Is Fine, But Won’t Resume Shoot Till Situation Is Under Control

Priyadarshan Jadhav speaks about his battle against COVID-19. He said that he was in quarantine for 22 days after hospitalization and while he's fit and fine, he won't be resuming shoot till situation is under control

One of the most popular actor-directors of the Marathi film industry Priyadarshan Jadhav had recently tested positive for COVID-19. ETimes got in touch with him to find out how the actor is doing now and asking him about his battle against COVID-19. On being asked how he is feeling now, he shared that he is fit and fine, but doesn’t want to comment on anything until he gets his final tests done and those turn out to be negative. The actor shared that he was quarantined for 22 days.

Priyadarshan shared being asymptomatic but he got hospitalised for precautionary measures. He said, “Firstly, It was asymptomatic and I got admitted to the hospital only as a precautionary measure but now I am fit and fine. We are following all rules and regulation. I have been home quarantined for the last 22 days and today I will be going for my final test. I am not disclose anything until reports are negative.”

When he was asked about his symptoms, he shared suffering from headache and fever. He said, “It was not anything serious because it was asymptomatic. I had a fever and headache, so I approached the doctor. Now, I am feeling much better and confident.”


Unlike many other stars who were tested positive for COVID-19 having big plans post their quarantine period, Priyadarshan has no such plans. Instead, he shared he won’t resume shoots until the situation of COVID-19 is under control. He said, “I am not going to resume shoot until the COVID-19 situation is completely under control.
