The anti-hero from Ritiesh Deshmukh’s famous debut Lai Bhaari, Sharad Kelkar aka Sangram was famous in the Marathi industry for his angry young man image. Although known for his villain role, fans were drooling over his physique and killer looks! Sharad Kelkar took it to Instagram to share the memory of his Lai Bhaari memories as the film completed 6 years.

Sharad is now seen in Laxxmi Bomb playing the role of a transgender woman in Akshay Kumar starrer film. As the theaters are closed due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Laxxmi Bomb saw a digital release of the film on the OTT platform of Disney+, Hotstar Special. This film stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles and is adapted from hit Tamil film Kanchana. It is being directed by Raghava Lawrence, who had also directed and starred in the original movie. 

Sharad's last releases in Bollywood were Tanhaji with Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan and Housefull 4 with Akshay Kumar and Ritiesh Deshmukh. He also played pivotal roles in Darbaan, and Bhuj: The Pride of India. The actor had a successful stint in the Marathi film industry with Uttarayan, Lai Bhaari, A Paying Ghost, Rakshas, and Youngraad.
