Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli is at the top of his game currently and his professional career is at its peak. He is exceptionally good at what he does, and all this success hasn’t come easy. Almost all cricket fans are aware that Virat Kohli was a chubby teenager. Hailing from Delhi, which is also known as the food hub of India, he was a foodie through and through and his favorite food back then used to be biryani, butter chicken and other meat dishes. But, gone are those days, as the Indian skipper chose to transform himself for his game and gave up his love for all things non-vegetarian and dairy products.
Recently, Virat Kohli shared a Tweet that read, “Saw game changers on Netflix. Being a vegetarian athlete has made me realise what I have believed all these years regarding diet was a myth. What an amazing documentary and yes I’ve never felt better in my life after I turned vegetarian.” The switch from being a non-vegetarian lover to a vegan is indeed commendable. Curious to know about his diet? Well, to begin with, his diet consists of protein shakes, lots of vegetables and soya. Instead of consuming big meals throughout the day, he prefers to eat multiple small meals. His diet also includes lots of grilled vegetable and fruits depending on the season. Some of his favorite fruits include dragon fruit, papaya.
