So the Trump have visited India with several high profile visits to Taj Mahal. From Ahmedabad to Agra and then to Delhi. All this in news everywhere. But the lesser description was regarding their stay in Delhi. After touring the Taj Mahal Trump stayed in Delhi in the Grand Presidential Suite of ITC Maurya which cost Rs 8 lakh per night.
The Grand Presidential Suite or the Chanakya Suite of the ITC Maurya on Sardar Patel Marg in Delhi welcomed the President Donald Trump. This suite is Located on the fourteenth floor and this particular suite is the symbol of Indian global theme and is acclaimed for the grandeur of its structure which is equivalent to an super luxurious apartment.
With silk panelled walls, wooden flooring and stunning artwork this Grand Presidential Suite also have an elaborate living room, a peacock themed 12-seater private dining room, a luxurious restroom apart from the reception area with a mini spa and gym.
If we describe the menu offered to Trump Couple then lavish arrangements were made to welcome US President. This suite was stocked with Trump's favourite items like Diet Coke and Cherry Vanilla ice-cream. A private chef was assigned to Trump who cooked up a spread of their choice.
Trump was the fourth US President to stay at the ITC Maurya's Grand Presidential Suite. Before him Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama were also welcomed by this Grand Suite of ITC Maurya.
Trump and Melania were accompanied by his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kusher on their first ever trip to India. Ivanka and Kusher had also stayed at ITC Maurya.
Donald Trump and his family spent two days in India. POTUS and Melania spent the first day of their visit in Ahmedabad and Agra before heading to Delhi where they received the official reception and bilateral talks happened between both countries where several deals were concluded.
