Monsoon is one of the most loved weather. It not only brings respite but also makes nature look beautiful. Heavy downpour is reported from everywhere. The national capital Delhi has been witnessing water logging in many areas due to the heavy rainfall. Low lying areas are submerged into rain water. 

As rain water gets collected on the road, many water borne diseases are born which leads to cold, cough and many other health issues. Here we will be sharing some home remedies for keeping these ailments at bay.




1. Milk is consider to be boon for any disease. And in monsoon it is very beneficial. Take a glass of warm milk mixed with turmeric and drink daily in the night. Turmeric is very important spice with lot of properties. It is excellent when comes to fight with cold and flu. 





2. Tea is the most loved beverage in India. In Monsoon, we all love to have warm cup of tea then why not include ginger in it. Ginger gives warmth to your throat which protects from bacteria. When making tea do include ginger roots in it. The tea will taste also good and healthy too. 

3. Honey and warm water: From ancient days, honey is consider as important ingredient in our kitchen. Be it skin, hair, food, it plays an important role. Drink warm water with adding honey to it. It is very remedy for sore throat. 



4. Neem tea: Don't make faces after hearing neem name. Neem is natural medicinal plant. When making tea, add 10 neem leaves and give it to your child, this will boost their immune system and protect them.from dengue. During monsoon, mosquitoes are borne in water which brings flu.
