Celebrity Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar recently took to her instagram to reveal the benefits of banana, and also one secret ingredient that is produced from it, which can do wonder for your health. Have a look at her post.
Rujata Diwekar was referring to the benefits of Banana flour in her post. While sharing the post she revealed the secret kitchen ingredient and wrote, "There are at least a dozen more reasons why you must eat the banana, in all its forms - kaccha, ripe, overripe & it's flower. But one of the best kept secrets of an Indian kitchen is the banana flour."
Banana flour is made up with green or raw bananas, they go through the sun-drying process. Then the dried bananas are grind into a thin flour and the resultant flour can be turned into a flatbread called 'Thalipeeth' which is enjoyed with fresh coconut or white sesame chutney. The flour is a cheaper, and is also gluten-free and offers various health benefits.
The health benefits offered by banana flour according to Rujata Diwekar are plentiful, they help in promoting gut health, maintaining the blood sugar levels. Apart from this, she also highlighted a few benefits of eating banana flour in her Instagram post.
