From gujiya and gulal to pool & cocktail parties, Holi is the only festival which brings the entire clan together and engage in child-like fun. The festival vibes fills the air with bright colours and sweet smelling delicacies.

But with little ‘pre-Holi preparedness’ you can easily beat the after-effects of the festival.

Meanwhile, the festival makes you forget about all the worries and throws you rigjt ina puddle of post-play woes. Then think od the colour in your hair, tint on your skin and tiredness in your body.

To get the post and pre play blues away ypu can follow these easy tips:

Oil is good

Dryness in your skin and hair is due to more toxic colours. The chemical colours can easily penetrate deep into dry skin and can cause more damage. So, all you need to do is gently massage the your hair and skin with coconut oil an hour before stepping out for playing with colours.

Avoid facials

Any kind of skin treatment or facial that involves exfoliation or peeling of the superficial layer of the skin is not allowed before Holi. As the skin becomes sensative and holi colours can irritate the skin and cause serious reactions.

Apply sunscreen

Outdoor fun looks exciting but the sun can damage and make your skin tanned. Staying outdoor for a long time can cause Tanning, pigmentation, sun allergy and more. To prevent from sun damage wear water resistant SPF30 for UVA and UVB protection.

Wear sunglasses

For preventing your eyes from eye irritation, you must wear sunglasses while playing holi.
