Today, beating our Monday blues, Disney + Hotstar announced that they are bringing Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan together for a live session called ‘Bollywood Ki Home Delivery’ where they will come together for a virtual star-studded event. It was speculated that this live session is about the announcement of the digital releases of their films including Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj: The Pride Of India, The Big Bull, Sadak 2 and Coolie No 1, respectively. As fans are super excited and waiting for the clock to strike 4:30 PM to know what the announcement is all about, Commando star Vidyut Jammwal is not very pleased as Disney + Hotstar ignored his film.
Yes, just recently he took to his Twitter handle and shared a tweet stating that it is an indeed big announcement but they found only 5 films deemed worthy out of 7 films. According to his tweet, Vidyut's film Khuda Hafiz did not get an invite for this live session. While sharing the tweet, he wrote, "A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES." However, as per HT, the other film is said to be Kunal Kemmu's Lootcase.
Seeing his tweet, netizens obviously did not like this move and expressed their rage on his comment section. One user wrote, "Why are the 2 films receiving no invitation or intimation? Definitely a big question! Why #Bollywood excludes some artists from their so-called "fraternity" and only promote a few artists? So this BIG announcement wants to promote only 5 movies? Really an unhealthy attitude!" While another one said, "You don't worry sir. #KhudaHaafiz will get the deserved appreciation from the audience if not for the biggies who think they own this shit. We are with you, always."
