Makers of Martin Scorsese's upcoming gangster movie The Irishman have treated the audience with the film's first trailer, leaving them awestruck with the mind boggling plot and the supreme starcast, making it a must watch in theatres. It stars legendary actors Robert De Niro who plays Frank Sheeran and is also a labour union leader as well as Bufalino crime family's alleged hitman,Al Pacino, who plays Jimmy Hoffa, a union activist.
The trailer promises a nerve-racking story which will keep you on the edge of your seat till the end. Yet another highlight of the film is the de-aging of these actors, where both actors will appear to be at different ages in the movie, which is successfully achieved by the makers with VFX and make up. This digital transformation has been done by Lucasfilm's Industrial Light & Magic. Check out the trailer below-
Sharing the trailer on their official Twitter handle Netflix Films tweeted, "Scorsese. De Niro. Pacino. Pesci. THE IRISHMAN. Get ready." The film is all set to kick start 57th New York Film Festival which will begin from September 27, 2019 at Lincoln Center.
It also stars Anna Paquin, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Sebastian Maniscalco, Joe Pesci and Harvey Keitel. Some of these actors will have a digital touch to them too just like Robert De Niro and Al Pacino as per movie demands.
