Following Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’s debut on Amazon Prime Video, make way for Taapsee Pannu’s hard hitting flick on the OTT platform. Anubhav Sinha helmed movie, Thappad will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 1, 2020. Sharing this news with her followers, the actress shared a movie picture where she is seen looking away from the camera lost in her own thoughts. Following this movie still she also shared the hard-hitting poster of the movie on her Instagram account.
She wrote in her caption, “That's me waiting for Thappad to come on @primevideoin on May 1 #ThappadOnPrime” Marking her first silver screen outing of 2020, the movie had hit the screens on February 28, 2020. Just like it drew audience’s attention and got them thinking with its trailer, it sparked a lot of debate among the people post its release. Despite it, it survived in the cinema halls. Taapsee with this flick proved of being capable enough of carrying a film on shoulders.
