Stranger Things series on the OTT platform Netflix has been the most anticipated series on the digital platform. The series pulled its audience in its world successfully for the last three seasons and has assured to continue to do the same with its fourth season. While in the month of February makers had dropped an intriguing teaser unveiling of the pivotal character Jim Hopper played David Harbour being alive, contrary to the third season where he was assumed to be dead post a massive explosion.
In March 2020, Twitter handle of Stranger Things had dropped a behind scenes video of the fourth season going on floors, as the cast was seen reuniting and immensely happy to be back on the sets. However, the shooting came to halt due to COVID-19 pandemic. As per reports in The Hollywood Reporter, the series will be back soon with its fourth season on September 17, 2020. The team is said to resume work in Georgia thus making season 4 making its way to entertain the audience by either early 2021 or mid of 2021.
Also if things fall in place as the season 3 was set in 1985, the forthcoming season might end up having a backdrop of the Chernobyl disaster which happened on April 26, 1986.
Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven in the series, had shared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon about the crew shooting for the upcoming season. She said, “[The crew] already shot two weeks in Lithuania... We were just about to get into it, but for everyone's safety and well-being and health, obviously, production stopped. But we're ready to get back to work as soon as this is all over.”
