RAY Teaser OUT: Manoj Bajpayee Harshvardhan Kapoor's Upcoming Netflix Anthology To Release On 25th June

Netflix on Friday released the teaser and poster of their upcoming anthology series titled Ray, the short stories is a beautiful ode to the ace filmmaker. The series is based on the legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray who is celebrated for works such as The Apu Trilogy, The Music Room, Charulata among others. The anthology is directed by three filmmakers, Abhishek Chaubey (Hungama  Hai Kyon Barpa), Srijit Mukherji (Forget Me Not and Bahrupiya), and Vasan Bala (Spotlight), and is slated for release on Netflix on June 25.

Satyajit Ray is also renowned for writing some of the best short stories India has ever seen. Vastly varying in genre and style, these stories are full of thrills, twists, and turns with a strong emotional core keeping you completely hooked till the end. Netflix India took to Twitter to make an announcement about it. They tweeted, “Great actors, great directors, and great stories! After Lust Stories, Ghost Stories, Pitta Kathalu, and Ajeeb Daastaans, Ray will be Netflix's fifth anthology series. Ray revolves around four tales of love, lust, betrayal, and truth. Each story in Ray, explores vulnerabilities and multiple shades of each character. Complemented by a stellar cast that includes Manoj Bajpayee, Gajraj Rao, Ali Fazal, Shweta Basu Prasad, Anindita Bose, Kay Kay Menon, Bidita Bag, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, among others.

Ray is produced by Viacom 18’s Tipping Point and written by Niren Bhatt, Siraj Ahmed.
