Former VJ and actor Ranvir Shorey made a name for himself in the Hindi film industry with his versatile performances and comic timings. He recently made the headlines for participating in Bigg Boss OTT season 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor. Opening up about his decision to participate in the controversial reality show, on the premiere night, he revealed that he took to decision as he was not receiving more work. Over the last few episodes he has started opening up about his life experiences, and even revealed the most traumatic experience of his life.
The Chandni Chowk to China actor also opened up about the most traumatic experiences of his life. Recalling receiving a call from home, when he was shooting for Lakshya in Ladakh, that his mother was not well, he stated that her passing was the biggest trauma of his life. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, Ranvir said, “In 2002, I was shooting for Lakshya in Ladakh, I got a call from home informing me that my mother was not well. But I couldn’t leave the set, as the shoot was still in progress. Fortunately, when I returned to Bombay she was okay and discharged from the hospital. A few days later, she passed away at home. It remains the biggest trauma of my life.”
